United States history is a required course for all juniors, and students have the opportunity to engage in a rigorous research project. This project is a chance to take a “deep dive” into a topic, one which is of considerable interest to the student, is worth investigating, and presents a problem which needs to be addressed. The projects can take many forms from an academic paper to a documentary to a website.
